Sigma Alpha emphasizes excellent scholarship of all its members through academic help on the chapter level and several scholarships on the chapter and national level recognizing sisters and chapters that have excelled in this area.

Since academics are a huge part to any of the women in Sigma Alpha, there are many avenues that we as sisters take to make sure every woman excels in their major and within the chapter.

Professor Office Hours (per professor's disgression)
Sigma Alpha women love to help others within their chapter, and outside. The Nu Chapter has started a scholarship fund for women who are interested in joining Sigma Alpha to help cover financial costs that could be too much for them to afford, or to active members wanting to travel to our National Conventions and Leadership Seminars. We want to allow any woman who shares a great interest in agriculture like us to have the opportunity to be a part of a great society like this. If you would love to donate to the scholarship fund, please do so by sending in a check or money order to us. We greatly appreciate every amount you are able to contribute, and the lucky women who are awarded this scholarship will appreciate it even more than you could ever imagine!
